Mike is a self-taught web and graphic designer that joined the team a couple years ago when the their business took off. He had spent the previous 30 years working in the “Surf” apparel industry in sales, sales management and manufacturing (He manufactured private label boardshorts for many of the top surf shops around the country and overseas). When he and Valerie were living/working in So Cal, Mike had a secondary business called “PromoteYourListing.com – a company that worked with local REALTORS® on their real estate marketing like property websites, high-end digital photography and virtual tours. He originally planned to launch a Northern California version when they moved back to the Bay Area in 2007, but there was so much work with Valerie’s and Jennifer’s business, he postponed the launch to devote his web and graphic design talents solely to their regular, REO and Short Sale real estate business..
Mike graduated 1974 with a B.S. in Business from St. Mary’s College, Moraga CA. In 1996, he earned an MBA in Business at the Graduate School of Management, UC California, Irvine. A retired rugby stand-out at St. Mary’s College and the Hawaii Harlequins RFC, Mike now enjoys carpentry, gardening, reading and staying up-to-date with the emerging Web 2.0 standards and best practices.
